This Genuine Antique English Reclaimed Flag floor may look like an original floor laid centuries ago, yet it was actually only recently supplied to a private residence in Martha’s Vineyard, New England.
Before it made its journey across the Atlantic it had been sourced by Lapicida then expertly recalibrated into a more regular thickness of around 30mm for ease of installation before being carefully colour selected to the client’s specific requirements.

DRY LAY
We offer a unique dry laying service. On receipt of an order we can dry lay all the stone, if required crafted for your individual interior. This allows you to inspect the floor prior to delivery , if required, to make changes. Once approved, this exact floor will be delivered to you.
QUALITY CONTROL
Each Reclaimed flag has been chosen for its character and quality. New consignments are painstakingly cleaned , measured, and split. individual stones are all prepared using both traditional and modern stonemasonry techniques.
REVERSE FACING
Lapicida has a long-standing commitment to sustainability. With Reclaimed, every piece of stone is usable, practically eliminating wastage.
Even second face and reverse face surfaces can be generated, further maximising every single reclaimed stone whilst offering a wider choice of surface finishes. We are taking products that have already been used for hundreds of years and turning them into two, sometimes three, more products that can each be used again for hundreds of years.
