Genuine Antique Orleans Terracotta Hexagon is a handmade 18th and 19th century hexagon terracotta floor tile. Typically incredibly difficult to source owing to their rarity, these classic red tiles are reclaimed from the Burgundy and Loire regions of France. At Lapicida, by using our network of sources, we normally have stock available in 145 x 145mm, 150 x 150mm, 155 x 155mm and 160 x 160mm hexagonal format. They are suitable for both interior and exterior floor applications, dependent on climate.
Reclaimed terracotta comes in irregular sizes and thicknesses, typically 15-35mm, which is not always suitable for modern schemes. We provide a bespoke custom-cut service to transform and repurpose reclaimed surfaces. Due to the nature of antique reclaimed terracotta it is unavailable for purchase online.
