Lapicida recent project featuring Elements Wood Dorato Chevron

THE HOUSE COLLECTIVE & DESIGN TONIC

This contemporary interior for a Victorian house project on the outskirts of Leeds was designed by The House Collective and fitted out by Design Tonic.

After close consultation with the client, our Elements Wood Dorato Chevron porcelain wood tiles were selected for the floor, which have a time-worn look that works well in contemporary spaces such as this bathroom.

“These porcelain wood tiles from our Elements Collection create an on-trend pattern that softens and breaks up the monochrome kitchen furniture and decor. It also flows beautifully into the open plan living area.”

Lapicida recent project featuring genuine antique reclaimed English Flags

WHITE HOUSE BARN – PRIVATE CLIENT

Did you know that Lapicida has a specialist Reclaim Division? For this beautiful barn project, the client wanted total authenticity in the materials used.

Our Reclaim Division is renowned for sourcing the finest genuine reclaimed natural stone and terracotta, then reinventing, reclaiming and reimagining rare floors with rich histories.

The floor at White House Barn was created using our Genuine Reclaimed Antique English Flags. These 18th century sandstone flags have a fascinating provenance and have been expertly brushed and milled to give an even thickness, then custom cut to the client’s specific requirements.

The final effect is one of quality and permanence and the floor looks like it was laid centuries ago.

ASHBROOK BARN – PRIVATE CLIENT

This luxurious and perfectly symmetrical luxury bathroom is a special favourite of Lapicida Project Consultant Rebecca Cherrington. She personally designed the bathroom which features two contrasting Lapicida surfaces which complement each other. The Lenke Walnut porcelain wood floor is so much more durable and practical than wood for a bathroom and San Marino Classic marble slab for the shower enclosure brings genuine opulence.

“It always gives me tremendous satisfaction seeing my initial design work realised and being executed so well. It just shows you how completely different materials like new-generation porcelain wood which precisely replicates the look and feel of natural wood and the finest San Marino marble slab can work together in harmony.”

Lapicida recent project featuring San Marino Classic Bookmatch marble

The master bathroom of Ashbrook Farm also features San Marino marble but in a completely different way. Creating a fabulous canvas for the large white standalone bath, San Marino Classic Bookmatch marble has been used for the floor and really.

Bookmatch, where marble slabs are used to create a butterfly effect, showcases this luxurious white polished marble’s beautiful veining and colouration which spans from greys and blacks to rusty browns. The effect is nothing short of stunning.
