Our Montpellier Porcelain Collection is available in a range of subtle colourways and now in different tile sizes, which can be fixed separately or arranged in patterns. Perfect for adding interest to your interior scheme.
Inspired by Antique Stone
The Montpellier Region of Southern France is famous for its ancient limestone quarries, producing natural stones in a range of warm neutral colours. In fact, Montpellier Porcelain is inspired by our reclaimed genuine antique Barr de Montpellier limestone. Today’s cutting-edge porcelain production techniques mean that natural materials, such as stone and wood, are capable of being replicated in a way that makes it almost impossible to distinguish them from the real thing.
A lovely warm colour that works particularly well against oak furniture and brass or copper tones, Montpellier Porcelain sits beautifully with different types of surfaces and materials and contrasts well with a range of colours. It provides the perfect blend of modernity and tradition. Aesthetically, it suits different styles of interiors from the ultra-contemporary to the deeply historic. In a modern environment, Montpellier appears to have a concrete finish, whilst in a more rustic space, it looks remarkably like reclaimed stone.
As one of our most popular surfaces, it has all the enduring charm, beauty and strength of ancient stone, but with the practicality and durability of new-generation porcelain. Combine different tile sizes to create authentic stone floor effects including opus and coursed layouts. Choose a custom cut octagon insert design for a classical look.
Available in four natural stone colourways. The beige, grey and ivory colourways are available in a range of sizes: 600 x 600mm, 600 x 300mm and 900 x 600mm as well as two smaller tile formats: 300 x 75mm and 300 x 150mm. The taupe colourway is available in 910 x 605 x 10mm only.
Designed to complement
Montpellier Porcelain is an elegant and practical solution. It looks superb and performs perfectly in kitchens, bathrooms, living areas and hallways. It is incredibly durable and easy to maintain which makes it ideally suited to heavy traffic areas.
Montpellier is not designed to completely replace natural stone, it is perfect combined with stone surfaces. How? Well, for example you can retain the original stone for steps and combine it with Montpellier for the floor to deliver a modern, yet classic solution.
