It is decision time tonight for the two remaining chefs from the North East on the BBC’s Great British Menu programme.
Stephanie Moon last night won the first stage of the North West Competition of the Great British Menu, we wish her well in tonights presentation to the judges.
We are rooting for Stephanie Moon who is the Chef Consultant to Rudding Park—just up the road from our Harrogate Showroom. Stephanie came to us to help with the platter presentation for both the fish and main courses. English Reclaimed Stone was used to plate up the Twice Baked Lamb in a Salt Hay Crust – the winning main course on the night!
Stephanie has been amazing all week and tonight's winner will go through to the national finals to represent the North East and get the chance to cook at this year's peoples Banquet. If she wins, one of her dishes could be paraded down the ancient cobbled Streets of Leadenhall Market and served at a magnificent street party: a banquet for the people and inspired by the people.
Good Luck Steph
